FAQ

BUSINESS PACKAGE

Have questions about our WordPress website creation service? Here you’ll find answers about what’s included, how we work, and what to expect — from first draft to go-live.

Our WordPress Business Package is a one-time professional website creation or complete redesign tailored to your corporate identity. We develop your homepage using your existing logo and brand colors, deliver a fully mobile-responsive layout (smartphone, tablet, desktop), and include up to six pages: Home, Imprint, Privacy Policy, Contact (with integrated spam protection), and two additional custom pages such as "About Us" or "Services." SEO best practices are implemented from day one, and full GDPR compliance is ensured. All work is previewed in a secure staging environment before going live.

You know your business better than anyone. Rather than using generic placeholder content that harms your search rankings and credibility, we build around your authentic copy and images — which directly benefits your SEO performance and brand trust. Our team guides you through exactly what's needed.

Yes. Our in-house SEO specialists work directly alongside developers during the build process. This ensures technical SEO fundamentals — including page structure, metadata, loading speed, mobile optimization, and schema markup best practices — are correctly implemented from launch, not added as an afterthought.

A staging environment is a private, password-protected copy of your website where we build and test everything before going live. This means zero risk of downtime, broken layouts, or errors appearing on your live domain during development. You review and approve the result before any changes go public.

Yes. Legal compliance is built into the project. We implement privacy-first development standards and can offer additional in-depth GDPR consulting if your use case requires it (e.g., contact forms, tracking tools, third-party integrations).

Absolutely. The Business Package covers both new builds and redesigns of existing WordPress installations. Whether you need a full visual overhaul or structural improvements, we adapt the scope to your situation.

FAQ

MAINTENANCE PACKAGE

Wondering what professional WordPress maintenance actually covers? We’ve answered the most common questions about updates, backups, staging, and what separates routine care from major upgrades.

Our Maintenance Package ensures your WordPress installation remains technically up-to-date, secure, and stable. This includes manual updates of WordPress core and all installed plugins (1–2 times per month), with critical security patches applied immediately out of cycle. All updates are performed first in a test/staging environment to prevent live site failures.

The monthly maintenance fee covers version updates to the 2nd and 3rd digit (e.g., from 6.5.1 → 6.6.2). "Major" updates — i.e., changes to the first version digit (e.g., 6.x → 7.x) — involve significant API changes that can break themes, plugins, and custom functionality. These require a separate assessment and individual quote depending on your site's complexity.

No. This is a firm policy: no new plugins will be installed and no structural changes will be made to your WordPress system without prior written notification to you. Only existing software components are updated. You remain in full control.

We configure an automated backup system that stores complete copies of your website on an external server for a minimum of 14 days. This protects you against data loss, server failures, and failed updates.

A child theme is a WordPress best practice that separates your customizations from the parent theme's core code. Without a child theme, WordPress or theme updates can overwrite your design and customizations. If your existing site is not yet update-safe, we can prepare it for maintenance — just request a separate quote.

Yes. WooCommerce-based online stores have additional complexity (payment gateways, product data, order management), so we offer a separately priced maintenance package adapted to their specific requirements.

Yes — clients who also have a web hosting package with us receive an additional 10% discount on the monthly WordPress Maintenance Package.

If a plugin or theme becomes abandoned or incompatible, we notify you promptly with a workload estimate and recommendation. Replacing unsupported components is handled via a separate quote, keeping your site protected without surprises.

FAQ

SUPPORT PACKAGE

Not sure if a support retainer makes sense for you? Find out how our monthly support hours work, what tasks they cover, and how to get the most value from your package.

The Support Package gives you 2 technician hours per month for hands-on support — including phone support for technical questions, content updates on your website, and direct access to our project and technical team. All tasks are logged minute-by-minute in our project management tool, so you always have full transparency over time spent and work completed.

Additional hours beyond the included 2 are billed at $69 per hour for Support Package clients — compared to the standard support rate of $89 per hour without a package. For larger commitments, we offer volume discounts at 40, 80, and 160 hours — contact us for pricing.

Support Package clients are prioritized ahead of ad-hoc requests from non-package clients. Your tasks move to the front of the queue, and you have a direct line to our project management and technician team — no ticketing delays.

Yes. Clients who hold both packages receive an additional 10% discount on the Support Package base price — making ongoing technical care and active support even more cost-effective.

All work is tracked to the minute using professional project management software. You receive a detailed breakdown of every task completed, making billing fully transparent and auditable.

Yes. Content updates — such as updating text, swapping images, adjusting pricing pages, or publishing new sections — are a core use case for the Support Package hours. This is ideal for businesses that regularly need small but important updates without hiring in-house staff.
