IfW – Institut für Warentest is an independent organization specializing in product testing and certification. Through comprehensive testing procedures and recognized quality seals, the institute helps manufacturers and consumers identify products that meet defined quality standards. The platform provides detailed information about certifications, testing processes, and awarded products while offering a professional digital presence for both businesses and consumers.
For the IfW – Institut für Warentest, we developed a completely new website based on WordPress and WooCommerce. A key requirement of the project was the implementation of a flexible subscription system that enables companies to purchase and manage certification plans online. To achieve this, we integrated WooCommerce Subscriptions and developed several custom plugins to support the institute’s specific business processes.
In addition to the technical implementation, we created various custom functionalities, including tailored workflows, automated processes, and individual extensions that seamlessly integrate with the institute’s certification and licensing procedures. The website was designed with a strong focus on usability, scalability, and maintainability to support future growth and additional services.
Through close collaboration with the IfW team, we delivered a modern, high-performance platform that combines content management, e-commerce, subscription management, and custom business logic into a single, user-friendly solution, providing an efficient digital foundation for the institute’s ongoing operations.
